Outlook for July 4th

Getting the holiday weekend forecast right is just about as important as a snow forecast in the winter. Thankfully this forecast isn’t looking terribly challenging and I think most people will be pleased with the outcome.

Saturday looks very warm, a little humid, and very sunny. Should be a beautiful day. Cold front will stay far enough west to keep the threat for thunder west of Connecticut (though some could move in after dark).

Sunday looks very warm still and much more humid. With a cold front basically overhead showers and thunderstorms will be likely in the midday and afternoon. It won’t rain all day but watch out for some of the storms which could be severe.

Monday will be improving as the cold front slides east. Some morning clouds and even a couple showers are possible but I think the vast majority of the day is great.

Regardless of the weather enjoy the weekend… it’s the only weekend you’ve got.
