Wow! That’s about all you can say at the radar. This storm will deliver. Looking outside I’m eyeballing about 3″ here in West Hartford and the snow is absolutely pouring down at the moment. In fact we’re seeing snowfall rates of 1″-3″ per hour and this should continue through 10 a.m.!
The worst of the storm will be between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. across the state. I do think the snow may let up for a period of time in southeastern Connecticut as mid level drying moves through which could cut down on totals a bit there. Central Connecticut (even the valley) may be in the bullseye for this storm.
12″-20″ of snow likely statewide. Someone could pick up 2 feet if things break just right. The morning commute will be unpleasant if not nonexistent!
