All our overnight computer models have converged on a track just southeast of Montauk, including the Euro. I’m now forecasting 12″-20″ of snow statewide. The storm will be quite progressive so totals in excess of 20″ will be isolated. The track is just about perfect for Connecticut with a large and incredibly impressive cold conveyor belt developing.
Most of this snow will fall in a short period of time Wednesday morning. I expect areas of thunder snow and localized snowfall rates of 3″-4″ per hour.
