A very intense storm is going to move up the coast late Sunday and into early Monday. The storm will deepen to under 975mb near Montauk Point as it begins to occlude and slowly drift east.
My first guess is 8″-15″ of snow statewide. It’s possible some sleet or even rain could mix in across southeastern Connecticut if the more western solution comes to fruition. Blizzard conditions are possible if the storm maintains it’s current intensity. Many models are showing the potential of 50 mph wind gusts in addition to the heavy snow.
Someone in southern New England will likely see a band of 15″-20″ of snow but it’s too early to say where that will be. May be here in Connecticut or it could be in the Berkshires or near Boston!
Sporadic updates will continue through today.
