Snow Update – Litchfield Hills to Get Pounded

We’ll see waves of snow, sleet, and rain through this evening with an additional inch of accumulation in the hills. After 8pm or so tonight the storm will really ramp up in Litchfield County where significant amounts of snow can be expected through midday tomorrow.

  • Litchfield Hills – 7″-14″ expected, some slightly higher amounts not out of the question in the higher elevations
  • Waterbury area/Windsor Locks/Hartford’s Western Suburbs (Avon, Simsbury, etc)/NE CT – 4″-8″ (slightly higher amounts in elevations >700 feet)
  • Hartford and immediate suburbs/Naugatuck Valley (south of Waterbury)/ Meriden/Storrs/Putnam – 2″-5″
  • Shoreline/Middlesex & New London Counties – Less than 2″
